Kristian Vigenin with ideas to support young people, families, small businesses and human resources development in BSP

Socialists in Yambol: Morally clear, able to take the right decisions, dedicated to the left idea, able to revive BSP

“We have to fight for the protection of the Bulgarian economy, especially small and medium businesses, which are facing the biggest problems. Although we are a party that primarily expresses the interests of working people, small and start-up businesses, creates jobs and opportunities for young people, we need to create a package of measures to support them.”, daid the  Deputy Chairman and Head of the Delegation of Bulgarian Socialists  in the European Parliament Kristian Vigenin.

I want to do more for the development of the BSP cadres, not only for the young. I personally am grateful that years ago I had the chance to express myself in politics. We also need to develop every member and supporter who has something to contribute to the country, regardless of the age. This is an element of the overall cadre policy that lacks in BSP in the recent years.”, suggested Vigenin.

The BSP candidate for Chairman has an idea to restart the thematic trainings on the local level so that the young people could develop. He also finds it particularly important to develop a strong ideological basis, because all the rest is a consequence of this. “We need to be the party that stands up for left-wing politics, has clear positions on all of the issues that affect inequalities in society, including tax policy. I support the idea of returning to progressive taxation – it is one of the ways that people with higher incomes can have a greater contribution to society. There should be a support for people who are in the biggest financial need – more funding for young families, for a decent old age for pensioners,” he pointed out.

Kristian Vigenin will focus more on ecology: “Young people are more and more interested in green politics and this should be one of the focuses of the BSP’s activities. Young people understand that protecting clean nature is part of our future as a society. We are committed to this issue.”

Vigenin defend the direct election of the Chairman. “Every member of the party should have the opportunity to decide who would lead BSP and that is why, along with my ideas for the BSP development, I will be defending the direct election.” he argued.

For Kristian Vigenin the unification of the left is a cause: “Regardless of the problems that have arisen in recent days, the united left will be there. It will develop and it will not be just a mechanical collection of the parties that constitute it, but it will have added value so that every voter who feels left can vote for this left.”
