In May the MEP also continued his efforts to defend Bulgarian interests in key European policies, including on healthcare, rose growing and economic competitiveness. At the end of the month, together with Tsvetelina Penkova, he organised two important discussions in Bulgaria on regional development, water infrastructure and connectivity.
