More sustainable and effective health systems can be built if analysis and responsible data management are combined.\u201c This was stated in Brussels by the head of the Delegation of the Bulgarian Socialists in the European Parliament Kristian Vigenin at the discussion \u201eAdvancing preventive care: the role of artificial intelligence and data governance\u201c, organised by him and the European Internet Forum. The event was devoted to the role of artificial intelligence (AI) and the management of personal data in preventive healthcare. An emphasis was placed on data protection and the privacy of patient information.<\/p>\n<p> \u201eArtificial intelligence offers significant opportunities for early diagnosis and personalised care, but the success of these technologies depends on the secure and ethical management of health data. Data security and the protection of privacy must be at the heart of every health innovation.
