Kristian Vigenin reports on his activities with a monthly newsletter

The Bulgarian MEP from the Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament Kristian Vigenin introduced a new form of accountability for his activities. Since October this year, he has publicly distributed a monthly newsletter summarising his main initiatives and actions in order to better inform the public about his work in the European Parliament.

“Our work often does not find enough space in the Bulgarian media because it is overshadowed by current political events in the country. That is why I am looking for additional ways for Bulgarian citizens who are interested in European issues to get additional information. This is also a responsibility to the people who sent me to the European Parliament to defend their interests and to fulfil my electoral commitments. I hope that the new initiative will be well received and if there are suggestions and recommendations, I will take them into account”, said Kristian Vigenin.
