Kristian Vigenin to students: You will create the conditions for healthier habits among Bulgarians

„Food safety and clean, healthy food are the main factors for our full life and health. You are the people who will take care and will create the conditions for Bulgarians to build better eating preferences and habits and to live more healthily. I congratulate you on your choice of a profession that is so needed today.“ This was stated by the head of the Delegation of the Bulgarian Socialists in the European Parliament Kristian Vigenin to the students of the Prof. Dr Georgi Pavlov Vocational School of Food Technologies. He accepted the invitation of the school’s management to take part in their celebration on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the school’s founding.

„It is an honour for me to be part of your celebration. I myself, as a member of the European Parliament, also work on the topics of healthcare and food safety. My presence today is only the beginning of our partnership and joint work“, Vigenin said to the students and their teachers. He expressed confidence that future joint conversations and initiatives will help the students see the subjects they study from a different angle and understand how the European institutions can be useful in broadening their knowledge and their career prospects. „You can count on my support. I am familiar with some of your projects and as early as next week I will create the environment needed to start moving them forward“, the MEP also said.
